If not feared, mimics are at least cause for abundant caution.  But most adventurers don’t realize that these beasts, if hand-raised from infancy, make exceptionally loyal and valuable pets. Tame mimics have provided peace of mind to many a wizard who leaves valuable tomes and artifacts laying about when adventure calls. And for fighters, there is no better suit of armor than the one that grabs enemies and holds them in melee range.

 Quite frankly, no dungeoneer should be without one.
