On the frigid Nalamond steppes, you’re guaranteed to find three things: lost tombs, adventurers seeking treasure, and at least some who’ve found it. And the latter are ever-eager to surrender it for heavy beer and and an evening’s entertainment. They are, however, less eager to surrender said treasure to gnomes who best them in games of dice, whether those gnomes are Wulfric or otherwise.

 But more often than not, they’re Wulfric.

 Wulfric’s formula for such sticky situations runs something like this: climb atop the table, deliver a long, lyrical speech about his own greatness/likeableness, descend amidst the applause of erstwhile antagonists, proceed to buy them another five rounds, and in a climactic show of largesse (and to assuage any lingering hard feelings) gift them his lucky knucklebone.

 Before the next day dawns, the gnome is already riding a caravan west—well before the hungover adventurers discover his die has five 18s on it.
